Microsoft Requiring Partners to Offer Paid Family Leave Microsoft is making business partners and suppliers offer paid family leave. Suppliers will be required to offer a minimum of 12 weeks of paid parental leave with up to $1,000 per week. for Microsoft.” However, it is unclear what is considered to be “substantial work.” Microsoft is even willing to assist its partners abide by the new policy by helping cover the costs. The company understands that this may “result in increased costs for Microsoft.”
