According to a report by Reuters, on Saturday, Jordan said that it regretted the United States' decision to cease funding for a UN agency responsible for supporting Palestinian refugees, claiming the move fuels radicalism and harms the prospect of peace in the region. Foreign Minster Ayman Safadi reportedly said that his country, which hosts over 2 million registered refugees, would continue to rally donor support to alleviate the financial crunch currently faced by the agency.
