He plans to take a paramotor trip over the Rio Grande in the near future, so this is an experiment to see just how high he can climb without an oxygen supply. So, he suits up and successfully takes off. With help from his paramotor, Mark reaches new altitude territory — getting all the more excited with every 1,000 feet.

Mark keeps his health in check the whole way up by using an oximeter to ensure he's taking care of his body. He finally makes the choice to descend back to earth once reaching an altitude of 17,200 feet.
