Pokemon Go's new update lets players track which friends they've interacted with for the day to increase their friendship levels.

The Friendship feature allows players to send, receive and trade gifts, and get bonuses when battling with other trainers.

Gifts are an easy way to increase friendship levels, but if you have a large friend list, it might be harder to track how you're doing.

But friendship levels that have increased for the day have a blue halo around their avatar picture.
