NBA Veteran David West
Announces Retirement Two-time NBA All-Star forward David West has retired. West won championships with the
Golden State Warriors the past
two seasons. The 38-year-old also played for the New Orleans Hornets, Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs during his career. In 15 seasons, West averaged 13.6 points and 6.4 rebounds. In his last season, he averaged 6.8 points and 3.3 rebounds. In January, he also reached the 1,000 career games played milestone. West says he looks forward to other business ventures during the next phase of his career.
