The two foreign based Under-20 National Team players arrived in Kigali and immediately blended in with their counterparts ahead of Saturday’s Niger 2019 Africa Cup of Nations second round first leg encounter.
Wigan Athletic’s Mwiya Malumo and Shrewsbury City’s Lifumpa Mwandwe did the traditional happy dance welcome with their teammates cheering them on.
FAZ has facilitated the duo’s participation to the national team based on their performances at their respective clubs.
Zambia takes on Rwanda on Saturday in a crunch tie that should give an indication of the African champions’ desire to defend their title.
