मध्यपदेश में प्रत्याशियों के खर्च की सीमा 25 फीसदी बढ़ाने की राजनीतिक दलों की मांग पर भारत निर्वाचन आयोग विधि विभाग से राय लेकर फैसला लेगा. आयोग के भोपाल आए फुल बैंच के सामने बीजेपी भाजपा ने अपनी बात रखी. अभी चुनाव खर्च की समयसीमा विधानसभा के लिए 28 लाख और लोकसभा के लिए 70 लाख है. उम्मीदवारों ने इसे बढ़ाने की अपील की. मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (सीईसी) ओपी रावत ने कहा कि इस पर विचार करेंगे। प्रचार के लिए समय बढ़ाने की डिमांड पर आयोग ने तकरीबन सहमति दे दी है। आमतौर पर नामांकन वापसी की तिथि खत्म होने के बाद 15 दिन प्रचार के लिए मिलते हैं, इसे बढ़ाया जा सकता है
