Banned in China, author Yan Lianke urges focus on human rights

A Chinese author whose works are banned in his home country has urged world leaders not to shy away from confronting China about its human rights record. Yan Lianke, who faced years of state censorship for his frank portrayals of Chinese life, said leaders who visit China have become too focused on money.
