According to Gizmodo, police in Paraguay discovered that their rifles have been replaced with toy replicas.
An inspection by the Dept of Armaments and Munitions of the National Police revealed that least 42 battle rifles had been stolen from their armory and replaced with toy replicas.
In addition to the rifles, an additional 90 small arms have gone missing.
The inspection was prompted by the appearance of some of the rifles on the black market over a year ago.
