COACH YENG GUAIO MAGPAPALIT NG PLAYERS PARA SA WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Nahihirapan si Coach Yeng Guaio kung sino ang kina Stanley Pringle at Christian Standhardinger ang kanyang pipiliin para sa nalalapit na second round n FIBA World Cup qualifying round.
Pero dahil sa pagkawala ni Junmar Fajardo ay may posibilidad na si Christian Stanhardinger ang kanyang piliin.
Dahil walang Stanley Pringle, posibleng hugutin ni Coach Yeng si SMB Guard Alex Cabagnot para punan ang maiiwang pwesto ni Stanley Pringle.
“There will be, I think nine players from this (Asian Games) team that will play, at least in the Iran game (in Tehran),”
Posiblen kunin din ang serbisyo ni Ginebra Center Greg Slaughter at ng isa pang SMB guard and 3 point specialist Marcio Lassiter.
“It really depends on who the eligible players are,”
“If Greg (Slaughter) and Marcio (Lassiter) are eligible, then definitely they will be in the team.”
“We need to work on this as soon as we can, because when we come home, we will have just a week to prepare,”
“The game against Iran being on the 13th, it would mean leaving the country again on Sept. 9, or the 10th at the latest,”
“So there’s really little time to prepare and given that, we need to take most of the team members here to Iran.”
Suportado naman ng PBA ang national team at handang magbigay ng iba pang players kung kinakailangan sa susunod na dalawang laro.
Suspendido din muna ang mga PBA games simula sa Sept 7 - 17 upang bigyang daan ang ating National Team.
Kinakailangan ng Gilas Pilipinas ang mga malalaking players dahil makakaharap nila ang 7-2 Center ng Iran na si Hamed Haddadi at ang mga bigman ng Qatar.
