A shocking case of police apathy & public indifference from the NCR region - NewsX correspondent Shreya Chaterjee and her friend were allegedly sexually assaulted by a man in Delhi last night when they were on their way back home. The girls tried to chase the man down but he escaped. During the entire fiasco - not one on-looker came forward to help the girls out. After which the girls approached the police where they claim they were maid to wait for 30 minutes before a simple complaint could be filed because of the absence of a lady constable. By the time the girls were escorted by the police to look out for the assaulter, he had successfully managed to escape.
