The top diplomats of South Korea and the U.S. have reaffirmed they remain committed to the goal of achieving North Korea's fully verified denuclearization
The U.S. State Department issued a press release on Monday that said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha spoke over the phone to discuss the next steps of engagement towards Pyongyang.
The diplomats also pledged to coordinate closely and shared the same view that pressure must continue until North Korea denuclearizes.
