Trump: 'Social Media Giants Are Silencing Millions Of People'
President Trump on Friday again went after the social media companies.

President Trump on Friday accused large technology companies of "silencing millions of people" in reference to social media content moderation.
"Social Media Giants are silencing millions of people. Can't do this even if it means we must continue to hear Fake News like CNN, whose ratings have suffered gravely. People have to figure out what is real, and what is not, without censorship!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
His tweet came days after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey admitted that his company has a "more left-leaning" bias though he also maintained that their policies are the same regardless of politics.
During an interview with CNN, Dorsey said, "We realize that more and more people have fear of companies like ours."
"Are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? We are not. Period," Dorsey also said. "We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint or ideology. We look at behavior."
The tech leader continued, "I think we need to constantly show that we are not adding our own bias, which I fully admit is more left-leaning. We need to remove all bias from how we act and our policies and our enforcement and our tools."
There has been increased scrutiny over the power technology companies have in shaping the political discourse in the U.S.
For instance, conservatives have been speaking out against Twitter for temporarily suspending the account of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones--a move echoing bans by Facebook and Apple.
Trump has been among the prominent critics.
He tweeted Saturday: "Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won't let that happen. They are closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others."
"Censorship is a very dangerous thing & absolutely impossible to police. If you are weeding out Fake News, there is nothing so Fake as CNN & MSNBC, & yet I do not ask that their sick behavior be removed. I get used to it and watch with a grain of salt, or don't watch at all," Trump continued.
