Giuliani: Americans 'Would Revolt' If Trump Is Impeached

Rudy Giuliani addressed the possibility of President Trump's impeachment in an interview with Sky News.

In the wake of the jury conviction of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and the guilty plea by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, there has been increasing chatter about the possibility of President Trump's impeachment.
Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani told Sky News that such a scenario would be "horrible" and "the American people would revolt against that."
"[Trump] didn't collude with the Russians," Giuliani also said. "He didn't obstruct justice. Everything Cohen says has been disproved. You'd only impeach him for political reasons."
Trump addressed the topic himself in a Fox News interview that aired Thursday morning.
"If I ever got impeached, I think the (stock) market would crash," Trump said. "I think everybody would be very poor because without this thinking you would see numbers you wouldn't believe, in reverse."
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday also weighed in on the impeachment talk.
"The idea of an impeachment is, frankly, a sad attempt by Democrats. It's the only message they seem to have going into the midterms," Sanders told reporters at a briefing.
