Cardi B dropped new music at the MTV VMAs dissing Nicki Minaj.
The 25-year-old rapper opened show with a swipe at the ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker by proclaiming "Welcome to New York, everybody - I am the empress,” Which was interpreted as a swipe at Nicki who recently dropped her fourth studio album, ‘Queen’.
Furthermore, she continued her taunts an after-party at Tao NYC where she previewed some new music throwing more shade at Nicki.
According to TMZ, she rapped “'I know how to do it, Get a bag, don't I, I know how to get a b**** mad”
“I'm the queen of talking sh*t, yeah I'm backing it up'”
Cardi B took home multiple gongs including Best New Artist, Song of Summer for her track “I Like It” and her collaborative effort 'Dinero' with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled being awarded Best Collaboration.
