Jeremy Corbyn has said that Labour “would not countenance” a no-deal Brexit, saying his party would “vote against” it in parliament. Speaking after a meeting with asylum seekers in Glasgow, the Labour leader said his party “accepted” the EU referendum result but wanted a transition period, access to EU markets and a customs union.
