Monkey on chain forced to ride miniature motorbike in Indonesia

A monkey on a metal chain is forced to ride a miniature motorbike in front of an audience as part of a cruel street performance in Indonesia.
Footage captured on August 20 in Probolinggo, East Java, shows the poor animal with a miniature crash helmet riding the toy bike.
His trainers keep him on a leash and pull the primate back toward them whenever he strays too far.
Onlookers do not seem overly impressed by the act.
The cruel show is reportedly a traditional form of street performance in Indonesia called Topeng Monyet – "Monkey's Mask".
The practice was officially outlawed in Jakarta in 2013 but still takes place in various parts of the country.
