Legendary singer Aretha Franklin will be laid to rest at the end of this month.
Extra reports that on Friday, Franklin’s rep announced that the private funeral will be held on August 31 at Greater Grace Temple In Detroit.
Her family has also set public viewings for Aug. 28-29 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
According to her death certificate, Franklin will be entombed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
