According to CNN, there is a surplus of pregnant women at an Arizona hospital and it's not coming from the maternity ward. Sixteen nurses who work in the intensive care unit of the Banner Desert Medical Center are currently pregnant. A Banner official says that the hospital is planning for the upcoming nurse shortage.The nurses, who are all due between September and February, will be going on maternity leave for 12 weeks.
