According to a report by Reuters, people across the world have paid tribute to former United Nations Secretary General and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kofi Annan, who died in hospital in Bern, Switzerland, early on Saturday. He was 80 years old. British Prime minister Theresa May called Annan, “A great leader and reformer of the UN, he made a huge contribution to making the world he has left a better place than the one he was born into.
