Lisa Nowak Wore Adult Diaper On 9-Hour Drive Before Attempting To Kidnap Ex’s Lover

NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak came into the spotlight when she tried kidnapping and possibly killing her ex-boyfriend’s lover in 2006.
After learning of William “Billy” Oefelein’s love affair with engineer Colleen Shipman, Nowak embarked on a nine-hour road trip to Orlando (Shipman’s hometown) in order to confront the other woman.
“Lisa was used to planning every detail of a space mission and she treated this the exact same way. She was determined to get from Houston to Orlando without stopping, and her solution? On February 4, 2006, she arrived in Orlando and attacked Shipman, only to be arrested minutes later and charged with attempted kidnapping and attempted murder.
