First lady Melania Trump launched her anti-cyberbullying "Be Best" initiative in May and reportedly against the advice of her husband. The New York Times reports that according to inside sources, President Trump urged Melania take on a different cause to "avoid questions about how the wife of a notorious Twitter bully could lead a campaign to spotlight anti-bullying and other child wellness efforts, and he warned her that she was opening herself to such jeers."  Notably, cyberbullying is one of the many topics that "Be Best" initiative addresses.  The White House lists its key areas of focus as physical, emotional, and mental well-being, using social media in a positive way, and addressing the nation's opioid epidemic.
