Gizmodo reports, "A 42-year-old British woman went to eye doctor because her left eyelid started to swell and ache. The doctors noticed her eyelid drooped a bit." The woman told her optometrist that she'd had heavy eyelids for years. After getting an MRI it was discovered than a cyst had formed around an old contact lens that she had thought she'd lost had embedded itself into her eyelid. The contact lens was fully intact, preserved inside the tissue.
