Racing through Milan with a Police Escort! | GUMBALL 3000

How better to end a long drive from Chantilly to Milan, with an arrival in the Italian city by a fast police motorcade convoy through the city streets! Having departed the French chateau in the morning, it's the long road towards Zurich, Switzerland for lunch before crossing the Alps to Milan to wrap up day 2 of the 2018 Gumball 3000 from London to Tokyo.

Day one had taken us across the start line in London and via the Eurotunnel to the Chateau de Chantilly outside of Paris. The second day would follow up being the longest of the European legs, over 900km to Milan in Italy. With the earlier part of the day running incredibly smoothly, the evening would bring things to life with the Milan police bikes bringing us briskly through the city to the closing grid!

Tomorrow we'll be continuing to Bologna for a visit to Pagani before heading to the airport for the participants and many of the cars to fly out to Osaka in Japan! The crazy adventure is only getting ever more crazy...
