Lancia Integrale - The Full Story tells you all you need to know about the world's most successful rally car; a car that won six world titles in six years.
To understand why the Integrale was so successful, it is necessary to check out its pedigree. This included the famous Stratos and Monte Carlo 037, both forerunners to the ultimate Group B supercar, the 600bhp Delta S4. Group B cars eventually proved too fast for the rally stages and were banned by the motorsports authorities. This meant a move to production-based cars and so the Integrale was born.
In 1987, the Delta HF Integrale won the World Championship at the first time of asking and carried on winning titles for another five years.

"The beloved Integrale was a rally colossus and this 100min DVD outlines why. The narrative kicks off with the Stratos, 037 and Delta S4 before the arrival of the Group A Delta HF in 1987. The period footage is wonderful, even if some is repeated, and contributions from the likes of Markku 'Maximum Attack' Alen are great. That said, we could haev done without the occasional lapse into very loud rock music. Truth be told, it was footage of The Chequered Flag Stratos in action early on that captivated most, for all its brevity.
