Eating Fried Bugs In Thailand

A market stall selling fried bugs in Bangkok, Thailand. The insects for sale included grasshoppers, crickets, silk worms, crabs and other high-protein native ‘delicacies’ . Thai locals love the salty crunchy snacks and were buying bags of them all night. ‘I’m not so keen. The taste stays in your mouth afterwards for a long time,’ said the British filmer from Hammersmith, West London. ‘They’re not snacks you’d see in England. Mind you, jellied eels are a bit strange, too.’
