Villagers save bear cub with head stuck in bucket

A video has emerged from China showing villagers saving a bear cub which got its head stuck in a bucket.
The clip, which was captured last month in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in northwestern Qinghai Province, shows the stricken bear wandering around with the yellow, plastic bucket wedged firmly on its head.
The local residents first attempted to tie the bear's limbs and then pull the bucket off.
When that failed, they attached a rope to the bucket and lifted the bear off the ground from the back of a lorry.
This second method did the trick and the bear bounded away unharmed.
