According to Reuters, a man in Clearwater Florida was charged with Manslaughter on Monday, after he fatally shot another man over a parking spot in July.
The alleged shooter, Michael Drejka, white, shot Markeis McGlockton, black, after a shouting match where McGlockton pushed Drejka to the ground.
Drejka, citing Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law said he felt his life was threatened and drew his licensed concealed handgun, shooting McGlockton in the chest.
It is unclear if Drejka has retained a lawyer or is still in custody.
