A herd of elephants was captured swimming in a monsoon-swollen flooded river in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The footage, captured on August 8, shows the elephants holding trunks above the water as they move along the river.

The clip was filmed in Katarnia village near the Indian border with Nepal.
