Navjot Singh Sidhu visited the Pakistan High Commission, just days after he accepted Pakistan's PM-elect Imran Khan's invitation to attend the swearing-in ceremony. The event is scheduled for August 18. His decision to accept the invitation had prompted a backlash from several quarters. After visiting the Pakistan HC, Sidhu told the media— “I have applied for government’s permissions. Everything depends on the permission of govt of India”.
