Police step up patrols in Moss Side

Greater Manchester Police have stepped up patrols in Moss Side following a shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning which injured 12 people. Chief Superintendent Wasim Chaudhry said the police's current working hypothesis is that a shotgun was used in the incident, and that the reasons behind the shooting remain unknown.
