Exhausted passengers lay on conveyor belts amid 'biggest ever' Ryanair strike
  • 6 years ago
Ryanair passengers at Berlin's Schonefeld airport lay on conveyor belts and on the floor at 2 am as they wait for their bags.

Footage shows the exhausted travellers in the airport's baggage collection, where passengers from a reported seven different flights had been waiting one and a half hours for their belongings.

The filmer, Nico Ferreres claims they were given free water bottles in the stuffy hall.

The incident comes as staff at budget airline Ryanair hold their largest ever strikes, with up to 400 flights cancelled on Friday.

Pilots in the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, Belgium and Sweden are all taking industrial action.
