On 27 June 2018, Samsung sent out invites for the next "Unpacked" event, showing a gold S Pen image. According to that teaser, it will be announced on 9 August 2018. The Note 9 has been accepted by the Federal Communications Commission, and will reportedly have a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a 4000 mAh battery, and 64, 256 and 512 GB storage options.
