Factor In Alzheimer's, Early Dementia And Parkinson's Detection Found

A possible factor in early detection of debilitating diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's has been identified. According to UPI. researchers at the University of Basel in Switzerland found that a protein called cytokine is an early biomarker for latent neurodegenerative conditions. The cytokine is induced by cellular stress reactions of the mitochondria. Human cells normally function based on the cooperative interaction of cellular organelles.
