There used to be a village named Dalmiapuram in Thiruchchi of Tamil Nadu and this was named after Dalmiya as a cement factory of Dalmiyas was there. But, a movement has started in 1953 opposing northern name to this village, by demanding to change this village name in to Kalikudi.
