LeBron James Combines Sports and Politics in Showtime Docu-Series The NBA star will produce a three-part series, titled Shut Up and Dribble. It will focus on athletes off the court as they get involved in politics. Showtime President and CEO David Nevins, to 'Variety' The series title was inspired by Fox News’ Laura Ingraham’s comments towards James after he stood in solidarity with Steph Curry. Curry refused to visit the White House in 2017 after the NBA finals. James recently gave an interview where he said he believes that President Trump has “used sports to kinda divide us.” The docu-series is set to be released
in October.
