Rosie O'Donnell and Broadway Stars Protest Outside White House On Monday, Rosie O'Donnell teamed up with Broadway musical cast members in a sing-along protest outside the White House. The group sang 'America the Beautiful' and 'A Brand New Day'
from 'The Wiz.' O'Donnell wanted protesters to know how important it was for their voices to
be heard by
President Trump. Despite the fact that President Trump was at his golf estate in Bedminster, New Jersey, at the time, the protestors persisted. Trump and O'Donnell have been
at odds for many years. The president
has even referred to her as a "loser." O'Donnell's ensemble of Broadway performers included past and present cast members from
'Wicked,' 'Hamilton' and 'Phantom of the Opera.'
