Over 50 Manchester firefighters worked to keep a blaze at a warehouse between Apsley Grove and Hyde Road in Ardwick from spreading to neighboring buildings on August 7, according to a tweet from Manchester Fire.News reports said people were evacuated from the building, which is next door to the Apollo Theatre on Hyde Road, but that there were no reports of fatalities or injuries at the time of writing.Amy Atkin, who was on a bus passing by, captured this video of smoke rising from the building.
