Shocking drone footage today (August 7) reveals the true extent of the charred remains of Saddleworth Moor following last month's wildfire.

The filmer wrote: "Following the devastating wildfires which blazed across Saddleworth Moors during the summer of 2018, we decided to revisit the beauty spot, to observe what tragic aftermath had been left in its wake. We sent drones to the heart of where the fires took hold, between the village of Carbrook and the local visitor attractions of Dovestones Reservoir and Indians Head."
