Orphaned Baby Opossums Rescued From Virginia Interstate

Newly orphaned baby opossums have been rescued from a Hanover interstate by passing troopers from the Virginia State Police.The marsupials were making their way away from the road where their mother had just died when State Trooper’s MacDougall and Fleenor spotted them.The post shared to Facebook on August 2 shows the troopers holding the little animals.The troopers brought the 10 marsupials to the Area Rehabbers Klub wildlife center, “to get the care they need” according to the post.
