Major UK road closed after lorry crash sends thousands of Coke cans onto road
  • 6 years ago
A lorry travelling on a major road in southeast England went through a central reservation, sending its load of thousands of Coke cans across the road.

The lorry was travelling on the A13 near Dagenham this morning (August 7).

UK media said 40 tons of the fizzy soft drink was being cleaned up.

Video shows the cans of coke all over the road, huge queues of traffic and a highway maintenance vehicle on the scene.

Writes the filmer: "The A13 was just a giant car park. (I) feel sorry for people stuck behind it in this heat."
