Recently emerged footage shows travellers at Lombok Airport screaming the moment power went out during the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that hit the Indonesian island on August 5.

According to the uploader who was travelling from Lombok to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a power cut occurred just as people were being evacuated from the airport after the earthquake struck.

In the video filmed at around 8 pm, screams are heard when the lights go out, and security is seen using flashlights to lead the way for evacuees.

More than 100 people were killed by the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that shook Lombok, an island located next to tourist hotspot Bali, that night. Aftershocks as strong as magnitude-5.4 rocked the island after the initial quake. A tsunami warning was also in place.

The death toll is still rising as crew expand their rescue efforts.
