So far Schmidt has been impressing at junior level and she helped Germany take silver in the 4×400 relay at this summer’s European Athletics Under-20 Championships. The German is likely to be a big name in athletics over the next few years and she is already sponsored by Puma and is also set to shine at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
Blonde stunner Schmidt, who will turn 19 in November, takes part in the 200m, 400m and 800m events on the track. However, she also boasts impressive personal bests in both the 100m and 60m indoors.
