DRI recovers 1100 Indian Star Tortoises from Visakhapatnam railway station

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested three people who were illegally transporting Indian Star Tortoises from Visakhapatnam railway station. The bright yellow shell of an Indian star tortoise glitters in the sun as the reptile crawls. If smuggled and sold in the international market Indian star tortoises could fetch up to Rs 25,000.
