Navneet Munot, ED and CIO of SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd, told Mint that India has one of the largest number of listed stocks in the world. “If you look at companies which have a market-cap of more than half a billion dollars, India is one of the largest markets in the world. Indentifying 20-40 stocks for a portfolio is not a challenge regardless of where the index level is,” he said. The fund manager was speaking on the sidelines of the Mint Mutual Fund Conclave in Mumbai.
