This is the remarkable moment a bear was spotted climbing over a barbed wire fence.

Flo Shoenberger was on a bike ride in Anchorage, Alaska back in June when she spotted this black bear scaling the fence to get out of the grounds of the local airport.

The bear manages the feat with relative ease and doesn't appear to get spiked by the barbs.

"Black bears are very smart and very good climbers, so smart even that it pushes the brackets which brings down the sharp wires," said Shoenberger.
