According to Reuters, Apple hit a special stock market milestone on August 2nd.
During mid-day trading, Apple Inc. began the first publicly traded US company to reach $1 trillion in valuation.
Apple's stock has been rallying for the last two days after a positive quarterly earnings report, and a favorable forecast for the next fiscal quarter.
But Apple shares jumped almost 3-percent towards the end of the day, peaking at $207.39.
