Digital Spy chats to Alice Through the Looking Glass lead Mia Wasikowska about returning as Alice six years after the original film, her "funny" co-stars Johnny Depp and Sacha Baron Cohen, and what she hopes for her character in a potential third Alice movie.

Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. After slipping through a mirror, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) finds herself back in Underland with the White Queen (Anne Hathaway). Alice's friends tell her the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is depressed over the death of his family so, hoping to save his loved ones, Alice steals the Chronosphere from Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) to travel into the past, where she encounters the younger Hatter and the evil Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter). Produced by Tim Burton and directed by James Bobin, Through the Looking Glass is the sequel to 2010's Alice in Wonderland.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is released in cinemas on 27th May (UK).
