How to find Hidden Palace Zone in 'Sonic 2'

Hidden Palace Zone - the previously missing stage added to the remastered version of Sonic 2 on iPhone, iPad and Android - can be located in the second act of the Mystic Cave Zone.
The level select cheat can also access the stage, but only after you've unlocked it the proper way first. Once you've seen it in the main game, then select a new, non-save game (this is important!) and as it loads, tap the letters in the SEGA logo from left to right.
You'll then hear a chime. From there, hold thumbs on the screen until the Level Select screen appears.
