The Syrian Arab Red Crescent said it helped to transport humanitarian aid provided by the UN’s World Food Programme to the towns of Ghousom and Marabaa in eastern Daraa on Thursday, August 2.The aid convoy was said to have consisted of 24 trucks carrying a total of 5,000 food parcels and 5,000 flour bags.Syrian regime forces and their allies captured what they said was the last remaining Islamic State enclave in the Daraa province on August 1, according to the state-run news agency SANA.
